Prarambha kala academy thane is a charity organization which is working in the field of social cultural and educational field from last 20 years. The organization works for 3 to 70 years age group with various social and cultural activities .Organization is affiliated with NATIONAL BAL BHAVAN DELHI which works under ministry of HRD.The renouned personalities have visited our Activities in last 20 years .I can name few of them here . they are Medha patkar ,Mahesh Manjrekar ,Makrand anaspure ,Renuka shahane ,Resham tipnis ,social worker Anuradha prabhudesai ,Savita prabhune ,Rohini hattangadi ,mr.Vinay sahastrabudhhe ,Mr pratapji sirnaik .cabinet minister Mr.eknathji shinde ,Thane mayor meenakshi shinde ,Dr anand nadkarni , senior spine surgon dr.Vinod ingalhalikar ,Heart surgeon dr.Vijay surase .pitambari head Mr. Ravindra prabhudesai .jai kajal chief Mr.Rajesh Gadgil ,and various well known personalities are aware about our work and delighted by it .By conducting one cultural programme we have supported NAAM FOUNDATION .In the journey of 20 years we have evolved a rich umbrella of services ,initiatives ,events ,projects and collaboration that addresses all conceivable age groups .all socio economic strata and a wide range of individuals and teams .We have given platform to atlist 10000 ladies till now to show case there talent through stage .We have conducted various workshops for the ladies who have lost there confidence .Some of them are widow and lonely ,also struggling alone for there family .We have conducted various workshops for all age group based on personality development and Remedial therapy as well as communication skill and motivational programmes.For more information you can visit our website www.prarambhakala academy .com

Our contribution in the cultural field :  

1} Prarambha kala academy is conducting free workshops and programmes for poor and needy children based on communication skill and personality development .

2} For the age group 3 to 15 we are conducting various drama workshops .Till now more than 20000 children took benefit of this project.

3} Also we are conducting free monthly, yearly ,weekly seminars for children .

4} Every year we are sending 4 to 5 kids to Delhi Bal Bhavan for National Intigration Camp.

5} Till now almost 100 children plays we have staged in various theartres .

6} Every year we are conducting children fest in the month of January for approx..1000 children .We don’t charge single paisa for this project. Also we support kids, suffering from cancer .Tribal kids ,poor kids enjoy the various event through this festival like puppet show .drama ,dance ,juggling ,magic show .various games and many more things .Deaf.Dumb and Blind kids also take part in all these activities along with mentally disable kids .

7} Every year we conduct various competitions for the kids and give them plat form to stage there talent .

8} Every year we conduct children play festival related to there mental issues as well as our traditional festivals ,freedom fighters .national leaders and various subjects.

Our Contribution in the field of education

Considering the current educational system, children are getting bored of studying. In this regard, Arundhati Bhalerao, the founder of the institute, has created an independent model of 'Hasat Kholt Shikshan' i.e. 'Let's make education easy'. Which has been used by ten thousand students of Thane and Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation till now. It is an ongoing program of initiation which is used by students of class V to VII.

Prarambha’s women based activities :

1} Prarambha conducts various women oriented workshops every year for the house wives. Almost 10000 women participated in these workshops till now .

2} Prarambha gives stage to the house wives for the age group 30 to 75 .It gives them confidence and happiness. Also give them there own identity and space for themselves .Till now we staged almost 100 women oriented plays.

3} We take them to All India Radio mumbai, to give some different experience .

4} Every year we conduct women festival for ladies. Atleast 1000 ladies takes part in this activity. These all activities are free of cost .we give them prizes to encourage along with certificates .these all glimpses you can watch on our website .

5} To encourage unknown woman we give ‘SOUDAMINI PURASKAR’ to the lady who is unknown but doing great work in the field of social work .

6} We conduct remedial workshop and also communication skill and theatre workshop for these ladies .These all activities are on going through out the year .With the help of this we are giving training to the ladies working in the various fields to trained them in communication skills .life skills and motivation

Prarambha’s work in the field of social work :

Prarambha kala academy is conducting Free cancer testing camps for poor ladies and various health camps for the Ladies those who are Home Healpers from last 12 years, As we all are aware that these ladies never go for gynac checkup. They never take vitamins and iron.T hey are not at all awere for there health issue. We council them and make them aware for the importance of mamography and sonography as well as paps smere test related to Uterus and few blood tests. Till now more than 6000 poor ladies have taken advantage of this free activity. Renowned doctors visit to our camps and we provide medicines to these ladies along with regular follow up. We give them free passes of various events organized by us. So they should get some time and happiness through there routine schedule. Also we conduct cancer awareness seminars for them. For the women empowerment we conduct various activities like Women drama festival, Women festival, Late Kamal Bhalerao concept show.

Our social activity for tribal ladies :

We conduct free medical camps for the tribal ladies .We provide them free medicine and old clothes .Also give them iron vitamin capsules.

Our social activity for tribal kids:

We have small library bus for these kids. Through this, we make them read various books. Also for encouragement we give them some task and prizes accordingly. We show them various Marathi plays through this bus T.V .Because these kids cannot afford theatre tickets, So we show them free plays. Also we provide them vitamin tablets and through our ‘AKSHARYAAN’ bus project we teach them reading and writing through colourful books and pictures. From Jan.2020 we are going to start working for orphan kids  and old age homes with various groups through out the year. Also we are starting project for house maids.
